Have you ever heard the viral "Odading Mang Oleh, its taste sooooo dooooooooggggggyy" statement?
In this post, lemme tell you how to make it :)
Ingredients:
▪︎flour 250 g
▪︎sugar 60 g (4 tbsp)
▪︎vegetable oil 30 ml
▪︎fermipan 3 g (1 tsp)
▪︎egg 1 pc
▪︎warm water ½ cup (100 cc)
▪︎salt ½ tsp
For topping:
▪︎sesame seed 10 tbsp
▪︎castor sugar 2 tbsp
▪︎water 3 tbsp
How to make:
1. Start by mixing sugar and fermipan into warm water, stir well and rest it for about 15 minutes.
2. After 15 minutes, add an egg and oil and stir again till those all are well combined.
3. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour the mixture into it, stir well with a big spoon. Cover with a plastic wrap and let the dough rise until doubles in size.
4. After the dough doubles its size, turn it onto a heavily floured surface, and knead it till the air in the dough go out (eh begimane dah :D wkwk) and the texture is fine.
5. Flatten the dough and shape it into a large thick rectangle
6. In the other cup, mixing well the castor sugar, sesame seeds, and water. Then put it on the thick rectangled dough. Allow the dough to rise once again for about 20 minutes.
7. After 20 minutes, cut out the dough into 12-16 parts (I made 16 parts).
8. Pour a lot of oil into a pan (let the oil can soaks them in a pan) and fry them for 2 to 3 minutes in a middle heat. Flipping once, until they're golden brown on both sides.
9. Drain them on a baking sheet or tissue paper, and....
10. ...tadaaaa, your Odading #oopsy! I mean "O, that things!" are ready to be served.
